After attending the Warp X launch at
Oklahoma Christian University we saw the challenge ahead of us. We
picked up our kit and designed our robot the following week, as time
progressed we made changes to our robot and began designing an arm and a
locomotion system. We then constructed our course, and are now in the
building phase of our robot. |

OK BEST Info

The main objective of OK BEST is the
score points by completing an assortment of tasks. There are many ways
of doing this. First, you may pick up a vibrating ball called a "bumble
ball", and put it into a square. Also, you may remove noodles from a MTCV (Multi Tube Containment Vessel). Thirdly, you may pick up
rings and put them on
"candles." Finally, you can take "dynamite sticks" (PVC pipe) or "alien
balls" (tennis
balls) and place them into the front two rows of the MTCV, also you
get 10 points for hitting the tie-breaker paddles. The trick is that
you have to use more than one method of gathering points or you will
never be able to win. It seems tricky but Norman
North is up to the challenge. For detailed pictures click here.
